We are currently seeking an Accounting Specialist to support our financial operations, maintain accurate financial records, manage accounting activities, and ensure timely financial reporting across our international operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage accounting activities and financial records for international portfolios.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing, collections, payment follow-ups, and vendor balances.
- Coordinate with vendors regarding outstanding payments, delivery delays, and related discrepancies.
- Perform bank, customer, and vendor reconciliations.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures.
- Prepare and review trial balances, P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Analyze monthly and annual expenses, identify variances, and report findings to the Finance Manager.
- Prepare regular financial reports, sales reports, and commission files.
- Monitor foreign currency transactions and ensure accurate exchange rate application.
- Consolidate financial data from international branches for management reporting.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS standards, tax regulations, and internal financial procedures.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and external audit requirements.
- Identify discrepancies and coordinate with relevant departments to resolve accounting issues.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Practical experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and collections.
- Experience in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
- Good knowledge of bank reconciliations and trial balance preparation.
- Ability to analyze expenses, financial variances, and exchange rate differences.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Knowledge of IFRS standards, tax regulations, and audit requirements.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
- Good organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle confidential financial information.
