About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to support our financial operations and maintain accurate accounting records in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will have at least five years of relevant accounting experience, strong practical knowledge of SAP, and a solid understanding of financial reporting, cost accounting, and inventory accounting.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and month-end closing.
- Record, review, and reconcile financial transactions in SAP, ensuring accuracy and supporting documentation.
- Prepare financial statements, management reports, and periodic analyses within established deadlines.
- Monitor customer and supplier accounts, follow up on outstanding balances, and reconcile bank accounts.
- Support manufacturing cost accounting, including material consumption, production costs, inventory valuation, and variance analysis.
- Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to reconcile inventory records and support physical stock counts.
- Maintain fixed asset records and calculate depreciation.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Prepare documentation and reconciliations for internal and external audits.
- Coordinate with procurement, sales, production, and warehouse teams to ensure accurate financial records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, applicable tax regulations, and relevant financial reporting standards, including IFRS where applicable.
- Maintain confidentiality and contribute to improving accounting procedures and internal controls.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum five years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP is essential.
- Solid knowledge of general accounting, financial reporting, account reconciliation, and month-end closing.
- Practical understanding of cost accounting, inventory accounting, and fixed asset management.
- Previous experience in manufacturing is an advantage; experience in flexible packaging is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and collaborate across departments.
- Good communication skills in Arabic and English.
