About the Role
Virtual IP LLC is looking for a highly creative and results-driven YouTube Specialist who can independently manage the complete YouTube content lifecycle — from developing content ideas and creating videos to publishing, optimizing, and growing multiple YouTube channels.
This is a hands-on role. We are looking for someone who can independently handle content creation, video editing, YouTube publishing, optimization, and channel management without requiring separate specialists for each function.
The successful candidate should be comfortable taking an idea and turning it into a professionally produced, published, and optimized YouTube video from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage multiple YouTube channels.
- Research trending topics, competitors, keywords, and content opportunities.
- Develop content ideas and weekly/monthly content calendars.
- Research topics and prepare video scripts, outlines, and storyboards.
- Create engaging long-form and short-form video content.
- Professionally edit videos, including:
- Transitions and visual effects
- Motion graphics
- Captions and subtitles
- Background music and sound effects
- B-roll and stock footage
- Intros, outros, and branding
- Create engaging YouTube thumbnails designed to improve click-through rates.
- Upload, schedule, and publish videos.
- Write optimized video titles, descriptions, tags, chapters, and calls to action.
- Apply YouTube SEO techniques to improve organic visibility.
- Convert long-form videos into YouTube Shorts and other short-form content.
- Manage playlists, channel organization, branding, and overall presentation.
- Monitor YouTube Analytics, including views, watch time, audience retention, CTR, subscribers, and traffic sources.
- Identify why videos are performing well or poorly and make data-driven improvements.
- Develop strategies to increase views, subscribers, engagement, and watch time.
- Maintain consistent publishing schedules across multiple channels.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience in YouTube content creation, video editing, channel management, or channel growth.
- Demonstrated experience managing and growing YouTube channels.
- Strong video editing skills using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or equivalent.
- Experience creating professional thumbnails using Canva, Photoshop, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of YouTube SEO, content optimization, and channel growth strategies.
- Experience with YouTube Studio and YouTube Analytics.
- Ability to independently research, plan, create, edit, optimize, and publish content.
- Good understanding of audience retention, CTR, watch time, engagement, and subscriber growth.
- Strong English communication and content-writing skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience creating content for technology, cybersecurity, AI, SaaS, or IT-related businesses.
- Experience creating both long-form YouTube videos and Shorts.
- Knowledge of AI-assisted content creation tools.
- Experience building a YouTube channel from an early stage and demonstrating measurable growth.
