Job Overview
An e-commerce company is seeking a Warehouse & Inventory Officer to independently manage the warehouse operations at one of its branches. The selected candidate will be the sole employee responsible for the branch warehouse's daily operations, ensuring inventory accuracy, product safety and security, including high-value items, and efficient order fulfillment and shipping.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage and operate the branch warehouse, organize daily activities, and prioritize tasks.
- Receive and inspect incoming products, ensuring that items and quantities match approved documentation.
- Organize inventory and accurately update all stock movements, including receiving, issuing, and transfers, in the inventory management system.
- Maintain inventory security and accountability, applying proper protection and documentation procedures for high-value products, including serial number tracking when applicable.
- Process e-commerce orders, including picking, inspecting, packing, and preparing products for shipment.
- Hand over shipments to shipping companies, verify order details, and document all handovers.
- Receive, inspect, and record returned products in accordance with established procedures.
- Conduct periodic stock counts, reconcile physical inventory with system records, document discrepancies, and report them to management.
- Monitor inventory levels and immediately report any shortages, damage, losses, or discrepancies.
Prepare periodic reports on inventory movements, orders, and shipments, and coordinate with central management
Skills
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in warehousing and inventory management, preferably in the e-commerce sector.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of stocktaking procedures, inventory control, and stock custody management. Experience handling high-value products is preferred.
- Proficiency in Arabic and a good command of English, including reading, writing, and communication.
- Ability to independently manage warehouse operations without continuous direct supervision.
- Good organizational, time management, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, discipline, and accountability.
Ability to perform operational and physical warehouse duties while complying with safety procedures.
