About The Job Senior AccountantOur client, a leading company in the healthcare distribution sector, is seeking a Senior Accountant to run day-to-day accounting operations and support the monthly and annual closing, working closely with the finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the general ledger and prepare journal entries and accruals
- Prepare the monthly closing and support the preparation of financial statements
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, and follow up on supplier and customer balances
- Prepare bank, supplier and customer reconciliations
- Support inventory and cost accounting, including stock reconciliation with the warehouse
- Prepare VAT and other statutory filings in line with Lebanese regulations
- Prepare reports and support budgeting and variance analysis
- Support internal and external auditors by preparing schedules and documents
- Record transactions and generate reports in Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision)
Requirements
- * 3+ years of accounting experience
- Hands-on experience with Navision (Microsoft Dynamics NAV)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Strong Excel skills
- Fluent in Arabic and English, written and spoken
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
