Role Description The Video Editor role at tujar go is a full-time, on-site position based in Amman. The Video Editor will handle day-to-day editing of video content, including cutting footage, assembling sequences, adding transitions, and synchronizing audio. Responsibilities include applying color grading, incorporating motion graphics and titles, and ensuring visual consistency with brand guidelines. The role involves collaborating with producers, designers, and other team members to understand project objectives, reviewing and organizing raw assets, and delivering final exports in required formats and resolutions. The Video Editor will also stay up to date on industry trends, suggest creative approaches to storytelling, and maintain an efficient workflow and file management system.
Qualifications
* Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production to manage end-to-end post-production workflows.
* Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to enhance visual quality, mood, and consistency across projects.
* Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create titles, lower thirds, simple animations, and visual elements.
* Candidates should be proficient with common editing and post-production software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools).
* Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, strong visual storytelling abilities, and the capacity to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Candidates should have effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on-site in Amman.
* Relevant experience in video production or media, and a portfolio or showreel showcasing prior work, is highly beneficial.
* A diploma or degree in film, media production, visual communication, or a related field is an advantage but not strictly required if experience is demonstrated.
