Role Description The Technical Superintendent is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role involves overseeing the technical performance and maintenance of assigned vessels, including planning and monitoring dry-dockings, repairs, and routine maintenance activities. The Technical Superintendent ensures vessels comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, and coordinates inspections, surveys, and class-related activities. This position requires close collaboration with shipboard staff, suppliers, and contractors to resolve technical issues, optimize operating costs, and maintain high standards of reliability. The role also includes preparing technical reports, budgeting for repairs and maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement of ship management practices.
