Role Description
Ohana Development is seeking an experienced Architect with strong technical expertise in preparing, reviewing, and coordinating shop drawings and construction drawings for high-end residential and real estate development projects.
The ideal candidate will have solid construction-stage experience, excellent technical detailing skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with design, technical, and construction teams to ensure accurate execution in line with project specifications, design requirements, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and coordinate detailed architectural shop drawings and construction drawings.
- Develop technical drawings, working details, sections, elevations, and execution drawings.
- Ensure drawings comply with approved designs, project specifications, and applicable standards.
- Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP, and other technical disciplines.
- Review drawings and identify technical discrepancies, clashes, and potential execution issues.
- Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, contractors, and design teams to resolve technical queries.
- Review material specifications, technical submissions, and construction details when required.
- Conduct site visits to verify execution against approved drawings and identify necessary modifications.
- Maintain accurate drawing records, revisions, and documentation throughout project execution.
- Ensure timely delivery of drawings in line with project schedules and construction requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
- 9–12 years of relevant professional experience, preferably within real estate development or construction companies.
- Proven experience in preparing architectural shop drawings and construction drawings.
- Strong knowledge of architectural detailing, construction methods, and execution requirements.
- Excellent command of AutoCAD; proficiency in Revit/BIM is an advantage.
- Experience coordinating with structural and MEP disciplines.
- Strong technical problem-solving, organizational, and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
