Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quantity Surveyor role based in Beirut. The Quantity Surveyor will prepare and review bills of quantities, cost estimates, and tender documents for architectural and construction projects. Daily tasks include measuring and valuing work, tracking project costs and budgets, verifying contractor claims, and supporting procurement processes. The role involves working closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to monitor financial progress, update cost reports, and help ensure projects remain within budget. The Quantity Surveyor will also assist with contract administration, risk identification, and final account preparation, while maintaining accurate documentation and up-to-date records.

Qualifications

Strong skills in quantity take-off, cost estimation, and preparation of bills of quantities.
Experience with tendering processes, bid evaluation, and contract administration.
Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with quantity surveying or estimating software; basic CAD knowledge is an advantage.
Solid understanding of construction methods, building materials, and local regulations and standards.
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Effective analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and interact professionally with clients and contractors.
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or in a similar role in the architecture/construction industry is preferred.
