Itron is innovating new ways for utilities and cities to manage energy and water. We create a more resourceful world to protect essential resources for today and tomorrow. Join us.
The world's biggest resource challenge isn't producing more energy, but using energy more intelligently.
We're looking for a Technical Sales Engineer passionate about helping utilities build the intelligent electric grid that powers a sustainable future.
Join us at the forefront of digital transformation in energy, where edge intelligence, AI, and grid modernization enable utilities to integrate renewables, electrify transportation, and create a more resilient world. - Design, deliver, and continuously improve inclusive, high-impact product demonstrations across Itron’s solution portfolio, clearly linking technical capabilities to customer outcomes and business value.
- Lead customer-focused, lab-based evaluations that validate integrated solutions, build trust, and support complex, high-priority sales pursuits in regulated utility environments.
- Document and maintain demo workflows, lab configurations, and partner integration blueprints to enable consistent, scalable execution across field and partner teams.
- Build, manage, and improve virtual lab and evaluation environments to support agile experimentation, solution validation, and rapid response to customer needs.
- Drive technical integration with partner technologies, creating reusable, validated solution environments that strengthen the “Itron Inside” ecosystem.
- Collaborate closely with Product Management and Services to ensure demonstrations reflect product roadmaps, deployment realities, and customer priorities.
