Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Teacher role based in Erbil. The Teacher will design and deliver engaging lessons, develop course materials, and align teaching activities with departmental and university standards. Daily responsibilities include lesson planning, classroom instruction, student assessment, and providing academic guidance and feedback. The Teacher will participate in curriculum development, contribute to academic quality assurance, and collaborate with colleagues on teaching and departmental initiatives. Additional duties may include mentoring students, attending faculty meetings, and supporting university events and outreach activities.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Education and Teaching, with proven experience delivering structured courses and supporting diverse learners.
- Demonstrated skills in Lesson Planning and Training, including the ability to design clear objectives, activities, and assessments.
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and engage respectfully with students and colleagues.
- Relevant academic degree in education or a related subject area appropriate to the teaching field (minimum bachelor’s degree; advanced degree preferred).
- Experience in higher education or formal teaching environments, ideally within regional or international institutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural setting and adhere to university policies and academic standards.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability in meeting deadlines, and commitment to continuous professional development.
