Role Description The Global Travel Manager is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing and optimizing travel programs across multiple regions and markets. This role includes managing end-to-end travel arrangements, such as flights, accommodations, ground transport, and regional itineraries for corporate and individual clients. The Global Travel Manager will negotiate with suppliers, maintain relationships with travel partners, and ensure cost-effective, high-quality services. Daily tasks involve coordinating bookings, resolving travel-related issues, monitoring policy compliance, and updating travelers on changes or disruptions. The role also includes analyzing travel data, improving processes, and collaborating with internal teams to align travel services with client needs and organizational objectives.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Travel Management and Travel Arrangements skills, including experience with multi-destination and international itineraries.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to handle traveler inquiries and deliver a positive client experience.
- Candidates should possess Sales-related skills to identify opportunities, support business development, and strengthen relationships with key accounts and suppliers.
- Relevant skills such as vendor negotiation, budgeting, and basic data analysis for travel reporting are beneficial.
- Experience in corporate or leisure travel, destination management, or hospitality is preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and use travel booking and CRM systems effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Tourism, Hospitality Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Fluency in English is required; additional language skills, especially Arabic, are an advantage.
