Role Description The Storekeeper is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role is responsible for receiving, unloading, and verifying incoming materials, tools, and equipment used in gas distribution operations. Day-to-day tasks include organizing and storing items safely, maintaining accurate stock records, preparing materials for dispatch, and coordinating packing and labeling of supplies. The Storekeeper will manage inventory levels, support stock audits, and ensure materials are issued promptly to maintenance and operations teams. The role also involves operating material-handling equipment (such as forklifts), following safety and housekeeping standards, and collaborating with procurement and logistics staff to support uninterrupted operations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Inventory Control and Inventory Management skills, including stock tracking, record keeping, and supporting periodic audits.
- Candidates should possess Packing and Unloading skills, with the ability to handle materials safely, prepare items for storage or dispatch, and follow handling procedures.
- Relevant experience as a Storekeeper, Warehouse Assistant, or in a similar role within industrial, utilities, or engineering environments is preferred.
- Ability to follow safety protocols, maintain a clean and organized store, and comply with company and regulatory standards.
- Basic computer skills for using inventory systems and Microsoft Office; familiarity with ERP or warehouse management software is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Bachler degree or vocational certificate in logistics, warehousing, or a related field; additional technical training is a plus.
