Primary Purpose:
Ensure the smooth daily operation of a retail store, acting as the link between management and staff to achieve sales goals, maintain high customer satisfaction, and oversee staff, inventory, and store standards.
Key Accountabilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily functioning of the store, including opening and closing procedures and ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Monitor sales performance, identify trends, and implement strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Ensure all customers receive excellent service and handle complaints, inquiries, and issues professionally.
- Monitor stock levels, order new products, process shipments, conduct stock counts, and maintain accurate inventory records to prevent stockouts and losses.
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing with proper displays and signage.
- Prepare work schedules and delegate tasks to team members to ensure proper coverage and productivity.
- Recruit, hire, train, coach, and motivate store staff to improve their performance and skills.
- Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
- Implement and enforce security measures to protect employees, customers, and store assets.
- Maintain accurate records, including sales reports and expense reports, and manage cash handling procedures.
- Performs any work requested by the direct manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in business, management, or a related field .
- +5 Years experience involves a blend of leadership, operational, and customer-facing skills.
