Role Description The Inpatient Pharmacist is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, responsible for providing safe, effective, and evidence-based medication management for hospitalized patients. Day-to-day tasks include verifying and dispensing physician orders, reviewing patient medication profiles for interactions and appropriate dosing, and preparing or supervising sterile and non-sterile compounding. The role involves collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize pharmaceutical care and support treatment plans. The Inpatient Pharmacist also provides medication counseling when needed, monitors adherence to hospital and regulatory guidelines, and participates in quality improvement and clinical pharmacy initiatives.
