Job Title: Specialist Pediatrician

Salary: AED 360,000 – 720,000 per year
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Pediatrician to join our team in Dubai. You will provide comprehensive medical care to newborns, infants, children and adolescents, covering preventive care, diagnosis, treatment and ongoing management. You will work closely with nurses, allied health professionals and other specialists to deliver safe, high-quality, family-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
- * Assess, diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions in children from birth to adolescence
- Conduct well-child visits, growth and developmental monitoring, and routine health screenings
- Administer and advise on childhood immunisation programmes in line with UAE guidelines
- Manage common pediatric conditions such as respiratory, gastrointestinal, infectious and allergic illnesses
- Identify developmental, behavioural and nutritional concerns and refer to specialists and therapists when needed
- Provide emergency and urgent care within the scope of pediatric practice
- Counsel and educate parents and caregivers on child health, nutrition and development
- Maintain accurate, confidential medical records in line with UAE health regulations and data protection requirements
- Follow DHA standards, infection control protocols and clinical governance guidelines
- Take part in clinical audits, quality improvement and mentoring of junior staff
Requirements
- Medical degree (MBBS, MD or equivalent) from a recognised institution
- Postgraduate qualification or board certification in Pediatrics (MD/DNB/MRCPCH or equivalent)
- A minimum of 3 years of post-specialty experience in pediatrics
- A valid DHA (Dubai Health Authority) license as a Specialist Pediatrician, or eligibility to obtain one before starting
- Strong diagnostic skills and experience managing newborns, children and adolescents
- Excellent communication in English. Arabic and other languages are an advantage.
- Warmth, patience, cultural sensitivity and sound ethical judgement when working with children and families
- UAE or GCC experience is preferred
