SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and enhance a scalable digital platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for both backend and frontend development, designing robust APIs and integration solutions, and ensuring high standards of code quality, scalability, performance, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain the digital platform for the Index, covering both backend and frontend components. * Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance software systems. * Develop robust RESTful APIs to support internal and external system integrations. * Build and maintain APIs and integration solutions connecting the platform with Ejar (إيجار) and relevant government systems. * Design and implement reliable interoperability and system integration solutions. * Ensure code quality, scalability, maintainability, security, and high performance across the platform. * Develop clean, efficient, reusable, and well-structured code. * Conduct unit testing and integration testing to ensure system reliability and functionality. * Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues and performance bottlenecks. * Collaborate with other technical and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions. * Participate in the architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement of the platform. * Ensure that development practices follow appropriate software engineering standards and best practices. * Document source code*, technical solutions, APIs, integrations, and relevant system components to ensure maintainability and knowledge transfer. * Contribute to the continuous optimization and enhancement of the platform's functionality, scalability, and overall performance.
Required Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. * Minimum 5 years of professional experience in developing scalable digital platforms and systems. * Strong hands-on experience with Python, Java, and Node.js. * Proficiency in relevant frameworks and development technologies associated with these programming languages. * Strong experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs. * Proven experience with system integration and interoperability. * Experience developing both backend and frontend components of digital platforms. * Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, performance optimization, and application development best practices. * Experience implementing unit and integration testing. * Strong ability to write clean, maintainable, well-documented code. * Experience working with government platforms and/or APIs, particularly Ejar (إيجار)*, would be highly relevant. * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. * Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and technical teams.
