***Senior HR Officer ***

An Oil & Gas Distribution company is building its Lebanon operation and seeks its first HR hire to establish the function end-to-end.
This is a builder's role, not a caretaker's. You will design the HR framework while simultaneously delivering the hiring plan that gets the business trading.
What You'll Own
- Recruitment first. Lead the initial hiring drive, with the Sales team as the immediate priority — sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers, onboarding, and probation follow-up.
- Build the pipeline. Establish local sourcing channels and a durable candidate network in Lebanon.
- Stand up the function. Policies, procedures, contracts, employee files, and core HR processes from a blank page.
- Run the administration. Payroll inputs, attendance, leave, benefits, insurance, and personnel records.
- Ensure compliance with Lebanese labour law and statutory requirements.
- Advise management on manpower planning, organisational structure, job descriptions, and compensation.
- Scale deliberately — mature performance management and the wider employee lifecycle as headcount grows.
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related.
5–7+ years of hands-on HR experience, ideally spanning generalist and recruitment work.
Proven track record hiring commercial and sales profiles.
Experience setting up HR from scratch, or within a start-up or newly established operation — a strong advantage.
Working command of Lebanese labour practice and HR administration.
Fluent Arabic and English.
Resourceful, self-directed, and comfortable operating without existing infrastructure or a team beneath you.
