Job Description – Senior Accountant
Location: Beirut, Lebanon (Contractual- There is no NSSF)
Reporting to: Hub Accounting Manager
Scope: LMC (Leading Modern Company for Logistic Services)
Role SummaryWe are seeking a highly disciplined and hands-on Senior Accountant to own the day-to-day accounting function for LMC, working closely with the Hub Accounting Manager from Beirut. This role operates as the backbone of accounting control for LMC, ensuring accuracy, discipline, and timely delivery. The candidate will support and, as the hub team grows, supervise LMC accounting, while contributing to automation and AI-driven process improvements.
Key Responsibilities• Own day-to-day accounting operations for LMC – Bank transfers initiations
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing for LMC
• Review and approve journal vouchers (JVs) for LMC
• Control LMC-related intercompany reconciliations and current accounts
• Ensure VAT and other applicable LMC tax filings are accurate and on time
• Oversee prepaid, payroll, and insurance accounting entries for LMC
• Support intercompany management fee processes as directed by the Hub Accounting Manager
• Act as first point of escalation for LMC accounting issues
• Maintain close coordination with the Revenue Controller (RC) on LMC revenue items
• Provide backup support to the Hub Accounting Manager and other entities as needed
• Enforce deadlines and accounting discipline within LMC scope
• Drive ERP usage (YODA) and AI/automation initiatives for LMC
Candidate Profile• 5–8 years of accounting experience
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Prior experience in a multi-entity or group environment is a plus
• Highly detail-oriented and structured
• Tech-savvy with interest in AI and automation
• Advanced skills in Microsoft applications, especially Excel
• Exposure to ERP migrations
• Able to work closely with and take direction from the Hub Accounting Manager
• Fluent in English
