What will you do?As a Service Lab Operator, you will work in a specialized laboratory environment supporting the qualification of advanced high-tech systems. You will be responsible for processing and measuring wafers and ensuring that they are available on time and meet the required quality standards.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- * Processing wafers through coating, developing, cleaning and measurement processes.
- Ensuring the quality, quantity and availability of wafers.
- Processing service requests and managing priorities.
- Monitoring and adjusting process and equipment performance.
- Performing quality, safety and process checks according to established procedures.
- Recording completed activities accurately in the relevant systems.
- Monitoring stock levels and ensuring materials are available.
- Identifying deviations and escalating issues to the appropriate support team.
- Contributing ideas for process and product improvements.
- Working closely with technicians, engineers and other internal departments.
- Sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues when needed.
- Maintaining a clean, organized and safe working environment according to 5S+1 principles.
You will work in a 5-shift operation, helping to ensure that the Service Lab and its equipment remain available around the clock.
Functie-eisen What do you bring?You are a hands-on and proactive professional who enjoys working in a technical environment. You take responsibility for your work, pay close attention to quality and are comfortable working according to clearly defined procedures. At the same time, you are not afraid to identify opportunities for improvement and take initiative.
You Also Have
- * An MBO-2, MBO-3, MBO-4 or HBO qualification, preferably in a technical field.
- Relevant experience in manufacturing, production, process technology or a similar environment.
- Experience with wafer processing and/or measurement is a strong advantage.
- An analytical and accurate approach to your work.
- A proactive “get things done” mentality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of your responsibilities.
- Good spoken and written English skills.
- Experience with Excel, Word, Access and/or SAP is a plus.
