Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Database Administrator to ensure the availability, stability, security, and performance of database platforms in a large-scale enterprise environment. The role will provide L2/L3 support, handle technical escalations, lead database support activities, and ensure compliance with security, audit, and SLA requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support MS SQL Server and Oracle databases in a large-scale production environment.
- Ensure database availability, performance, security, backup, recovery, and patching.
- Provide L2/L3 technical support and resolve complex incidents and escalations.
- Perform database performance tuning, capacity management, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Manage SQL Server Always On and high-availability solutions.
- Support database upgrades, migrations, implementations, and transitions.
- Ensure compliance with security baselines, patching requirements, audit standards, and banking regulations.
- Perform root-cause analysis and participate in Incident, Problem, and Change Management following ITIL practices.
- Lead and provide technical guidance to the database support team.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely service delivery.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Database Administration and large-scale production support.
- Strong hands-on experience with MS SQL Server and Oracle Database.

- Database Security
- Capacity Management and Maintenance
- Experience with large-scale database upgrades, migrations, and implementations.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, particularly IaaS/PaaS services.
- Knowledge of ITIL, Incident, Problem, Change, and Escalation Management.
- Experience with security, audit, and compliance requirements; banking environment experience is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and team leadership skills.
