Responsibilities
- Manage and follow up on purchasing activities for project requirements.
- Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, delivery, and project requirements.
- Prepare and review RFQs, quotations, comparison sheets, and purchase orders.
- Negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive prices and favorable commercial terms.
- Coordinate with project, technical, warehouse, and finance teams to ensure timely procurement.
- Follow up on purchase orders, deliveries, and material availability to meet project schedules.
- Maintain and update supplier databases and purchasing records.
- Ensure purchased materials comply with approved specifications and project requirements.
- Resolve purchasing and delivery issues with suppliers and relevant project teams.
- Maintain accurate procurement documentation and reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of experience in purchasing/procurement within the construction field.
- Experience in Transportation or Infrastructure Projects is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of purchasing processes, supplier management, and procurement procedures.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
- Strong coordination, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
