Senior Product Owner – Omnichannel
Location: Dubai
The Opportunity
My client is looking for a Senior Product Owner – Omnichannel to take ownership of the end-to-end in-store omnichannel experience, spanning fulfilment, collection, dispatch and returns.
This is a highly hands-on product leadership role for someone who understands retail operations, technology and customer experience and can translate complex store-level challenges into scalable digital products.
You will work closely with E-commerce, Product, Engineering, Data, Architecture and frontline retail teams to improve the way omnichannel journeys operate across stores.
What You’ll Do
- Own the end-to-end in-store omnichannel fulfilment journey, including pick, pack, dispatch, collection, uncollected orders and returns.
- Partner closely with the E-commerce Product team to create a seamless experience for both customers and store colleagues.
- Lead customer-facing initiatives that improve collection experiences, reduce queues and increase customer satisfaction.
- Identify operational and technology gaps across omnichannel processes and drive solutions through to implementation.
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert for in-store omnichannel, influencing technology decisions and product strategy.
- Work hands-on with salesfloor colleagues, business units, Product, Data, Engineering, QA and Architecture teams.
- Translate operational challenges into clear product requirements, priorities and measurable outcomes.
- Own and drive the omnichannel product roadmap, backlog and prioritisation, balancing customer, colleague and commercial impact.
- Establish a data-led approach to product improvement, using Power BI, vendor dashboards, APIs and raw data sources to identify opportunities and measure performance.
- Continuously optimise products and processes based on data, customer feedback and operational insight.
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years of retail experience, ideally combining hands-on store/salesfloor experience with central-office or corporate retail experience.
- Strong understanding of retail operations and omnichannel fulfilment.
- Proven experience delivering technology-led products and transformation initiatives that improve sales, productivity and customer experience.
- Strong end-to-end product ownership experience, from strategy and discovery through to delivery, launch and optimisation.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage with C-suite, CEOs, CDOs and senior business leaders.
- A strong delivery mindset – someone who can move quickly from identifying a problem to implementing a solution.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to communicate product vision, priorities and progress with clarity.
- AI-native mindset: comfortable using AI coding assistants and tools such as VS Code to prototype, build and iterate independently. Experience creating or deploying agents to automate workflows is highly desirable.
- Strong data literacy, with experience working across Power BI, APIs, vendor platforms and raw datasets.
- Good understanding of data structures, data accessibility, storage and governance.
- Comfortable leading through influence and aligning stakeholders across different functions and seniority levels.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a retail-native Product Leader, rather than a traditional digital Product Manager. You should understand what actually happens on the shop floor, but also have the technical and product capability to turn those operational challenges into technology solutions.
The strongest candidates will combine deep retail/omnichannel expertise + hands-on product delivery + strong data capability + genuine AI fluency.
This is a role for someone who is comfortable getting into the detail, challenging existing processes and building better ways of working rather than simply managing a roadmap.
