Role Description
The AWS Business Development Specialist (Cloud) contract role focuses on identifying, qualifying, and nurturing new business opportunities for Atomic’s AWS-based solutions, working in a fully remote capacity. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and lead generation, executing targeted outreach campaigns, and conducting market research to identify priority accounts and industry segments. The specialist will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and technical teams to shape proposals, support solution positioning, and ensure a smooth handoff from early engagement to formal sales cycles. This role also involves maintaining accurate records in CRM tools, preparing performance reports, and delivering a responsive, service-oriented experience for prospective and existing customers.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret market data, pipeline metrics, and customer needs for AWS cloud and AI solutions.
- Excellent Communication abilities, including clear written and verbal communication for outreach, presentations, and internal collaboration.
- Demonstrated experience in Lead Generation, including prospecting, qualifying opportunities, and managing outbound and inbound campaigns.
- Proficient in Market Research to assess industries, competitors, and trends related to AWS, cloud, and AI adoption.
- Customer Service mindset, with a focus on responsiveness, relationship-building, and creating positive prospect and client experiences.
- Experience with AWS ecosystem, cloud services, or technology consulting is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with CRM and sales enablement tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and basic pipeline reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and collaborate across global teams.
- French is a plus.
