The MEP Engineer is responsible for the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, ensuring reliable, safe, and efficient facility operations. Coordinate with maintenance teams, contractors, and the RDD department to ensure timely resolution of technical issues and compliance with operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Operation and maintenance of HVAC systems (chillers, AHUs, FCUs, cooling towers, pumps)
- Chilled water and hot water systems — piping, valves, pressure balancing
- Plumbing, drainage, and sanitary systems maintenance
- LV distribution systems — MSBs, SMDBs, DBs, MCBs, ACBs
- Generator operation, maintenance, and load testing
- UPS systems, AVRs, and battery bank management
- Power factor correction (PFC) panels
- Lighting systems — indoor, emergency, exit signage
- Domestic cold and hot water systems
- Sump pumps, booster pumps, and pressure vessels
- Grease trap inspection and maintenance coordination
- Follow with RDD department
Skills, Knowledge And Experience
- * Bachelor’s degree of engineering (Mechanical / Electrical)
- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in facility management, Electrical Systems , HVAC systems , LC systems , Plumbing systems , AutoCAD / HAP / Dialux.
- Budget tracking for maintenance OPEX
- Preventive and corrective maintenance planning and execution
- Asset register development and maintenance
- Contractor supervision and coordination on site
- MEP handover inspections and snagging
- Site condition surveys and defect reporting
- SLA monitoring for outsourced service providers
- Monthly maintenance reports and KPI tracking
- Energy consumption monitoring and reporting
