The ProjectThe Interface Manager will lead the management of technical, construction, commissioning, operational, and stakeholder interfaces associated with the delivery of major utility production assets and infrastructure plants.
The role is responsible for ensuring effective integration between utility plant packages, network infrastructure contractors, utility operators, authorities, commissioning teams, and programme stakeholders. The position will focus on the successful delivery and integration of major infrastructure facilities including power, district cooling, desalination, sewage treatment, potable water production, ICT infrastructure, and centralized utility systems.
The role is critical in managing plant-to-network interfaces, plant-to-plant interfaces, utility operator requirements, and operational readiness activities across multiple contractors and workstreams.

Key Accountabilities
- * Establish and manage the package interface management framework across all utility plant assets.
- Lead interface coordination between power plants, substations, district cooling plants, desalination facilities, sewage treatment facilities, ICT infrastructure, and associated utility networks.
- Manage interfaces between plant contractors, utility network contractors, utility providers, authorities, operators, and programme stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain interface registers, responsibility matrices, and interface agreements.
- Coordinate technical interfaces across civil, process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, controls, ICT, and operational systems.
- Manage plant-to-network integration requirements to support testing, commissioning, energisation, and operational handover.
- Facilitate interface workshops and multidisciplinary coordination meetings.
- Identify interface risks and drive timely mitigation and resolution strategies.
- Support operational readiness planning and integration with future operating entities.
- Monitor interface performance and provide regular reporting to programme leadership.
Candidate Requirements* Degree qualified in Engineering or related discipline.
* Extensive years of experience delivering major infrastructure or utility programmes.
* Demonstrable experience delivering utility production facilities such as:
+ District Cooling
+ Desalination Systems
+ Sewage Treatment and Wastewater Treatment Systems
+ Primary Substations
+ Primary Power Generation plant and systems
+ Central Fire control room
+ Central Security Control rooms
+ Master System Integration covering all instrumentation and Process control
- Strong understanding of plant delivery, utility integration, commissioning, and operational handover requirements.
- Experience working across multidisciplinary contractor environments.
- Strong stakeholder, authority, and operator coordination experience.
- Experience on large-scale remote site programmes is highly desirable.
- Strong experience in delivering a multi stakeholder project with lead design consultants, specialist designers, sub-contractors, main contractors, client team and operation / FM teams.
