Role purpose
Lead investigation workstreams day to day under the Manager / Director, acting as the on-the-ground lead in KSA across the engagement lifecycle, supervising junior staff and managing interaction with client and regulatory representatives.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and deliver workstreams across data analytics, e-discovery / ESI review and document review.
- Manage onsite delivery, acting as day-to-day contact for the client SPOC and engaging with audit committee members and regulatory representatives.
- Conduct evidence collection, analysis and fact-finding interviews; draft findings and investigation reports for senior review.
- Maintain review protocols, documentation standards and defensible working papers.
- Supervise, coach and review the work of Consultants and Analysts; support the Manager on engagement planning, budgets and timelines.
- Contribute to Business development, proposals, client pitches and knowledge development for the KSA practice.
Qualifications and certifications
- Chartered Accountant, professional financial accounting qualification, MBA (Finance) or a relevant postgraduate degree.
- Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) strongly preferred; ACCA, CPA, CAMS or digital forensics certifications (e.g., EnCE) an advantage.
Experience and technical skills
- Proven track record on significant fraud, misconduct or financial crime investigations in India, the GCC or the wider Middle East, with direct onsite client and regulator interaction.
- Strong command of the end-to-end investigation lifecycle, with experience running workstreams and supervising junior staff.
- Hands-on capability in data analytics and Excel at minimum; e-discovery / ESI review and document review.
- Proficiency with forensic and e-discovery platforms (e.g., Relativity, Nuix, Intella) and analytics tools (e.g., IDEA, ACL, SQL, Power BI).
- Familiarity with the KSA regulatory landscape (CMA, SAMA, Nazaha), or the ability to build it quickly; prior GCC engagement exposure an advantage.
Languages
- Fluent written and spoken English required; Arabic an advantage.
