SENIOR BRAND & INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS DESIGNER

AEGI is a diversified holding and platform-building group with a portfolio spanning several strategic industries. The organisation is developing an integrated marketing function to strengthen its corporate brand, support its portfolio companies and communicate consistently with employees and external stakeholders.
ROLE PURPOSE
The Senior Brand & Internal Communications Designer will create high-quality visual communications that strengthen AEGI’s corporate identity and improve how information is communicated across the organisation.
The role combines brand design, internal communications, corporate storytelling and creative production. The successful candidate will translate strategic and business information into clear, engaging and visually consistent materials across digital, print, presentation, event and workplace channels.
This is a senior, hands-on design position requiring strong creative judgement, excellent execution and the ability to manage projects from initial brief through final delivery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Brand Design and Development
- Create high-quality visual assets aligned with AEGI’s corporate identity, positioning and communication objectives.
- Apply and evolve the brand identity across digital, print, presentation, event and environmental formats.
- Develop visual concepts for corporate campaigns, strategic initiatives and portfolio-related communications.
- Maintain consistency in typography, colour, imagery, layout and overall visual language.
- Create and maintain brand templates, design systems, asset libraries and practical brand guidelines.
- Review materials produced by internal teams, portfolio companies and external partners to ensure brand compliance.
- Help strengthen the visual relationship between the group brand and its portfolio companies.
Internal Communications Design
- Design engaging materials for employee announcements, leadership messages, organisational updates and internal campaigns.
- Create internal newsletters, email communications, digital signage, infographics, posters and workplace materials.
- Transform complex information into accessible and visually engaging communication.
- Support employee engagement, culture, recognition, wellbeing and change-management initiatives.
- Develop reusable templates that enable internal teams to communicate consistently and efficiently.
- Adapt communications for different employee groups, channels and levels of seniority.
Corporate and Leadership Communications
- Design executive presentations, board materials, strategic reports and corporate profiles.
- Create polished PowerPoint presentations for senior leaders, meetings, town halls and external engagements.
- Translate data, strategic priorities and business updates into clear visual narratives.
- Develop infographics, diagrams, charts and information-design assets.
- Handle confidential or sensitive leadership communications with appropriate discretion.
- Ensure presentations and reports are accurate, structured and suitable for senior audiences.
Campaign and Content Design
- Develop creative concepts and assets for corporate, brand, reputation and internal campaigns.
- Produce social media graphics, website assets, email designs and other digital content.
- Create campaign toolkits that can be adapted across channels and portfolio businesses.
- Support employer-branding, recruitment and employee-engagement communications.
- Produce light motion graphics, animated presentations and short-form visual content when required.
- Resize, adapt and localise creative materials for different platforms and audiences.
Events and Environmental Design
- Develop visual identities and supporting materials for conferences, town halls, exhibitions and internal events.
- Design invitations, agendas, presentation templates, stage graphics, signage and event collateral.
- Support workplace branding, office graphics and other environmental design requirements.
- Coordinate with production suppliers to ensure the quality and accuracy of printed and fabricated materials.
- Conduct final artwork checks and approve production-ready files.
Creative Production and Project Management
- Manage assigned design projects from briefing and concept development through revisions and final delivery.
- Clarify requirements, timelines, formats and approval processes with stakeholders.
- Prioritise multiple projects while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
- Prepare technically accurate artwork for digital publication, professional printing and large-format production.
- Maintain organised source files, templates and final-asset libraries.
- Manage feedback constructively and provide informed creative recommendations.
- Coordinate with agencies, freelancers, printers and production suppliers when required.
Collaboration and Brand Governance
- Work closely with Brand, Internal Communications, Corporate Communications, Human Resources and portfolio-company teams.
- Provide creative guidance to stakeholders and help improve the quality of design briefs.
- Balance stakeholder requirements with brand standards, audience needs and communication objectives.
- Educate internal teams on the correct application of templates and brand assets.
- Identify opportunities to improve creative workflows, approval processes and asset management.
- Stay informed about relevant developments in brand design, internal communications and digital content.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia Design or a related discipline.
- Fluent English is required; Arabic is highly desirable.
- A strong and relevant portfolio is required.
EXPERIENCE
- Seven to ten years of professional experience in graphic design, brand design or visual communications.
- At least three years of experience operating at a senior designer level.
- Strong experience designing internal communications and corporate materials.
- Demonstrated experience creating executive presentations and information-rich documents.
- Experience working with established brand guidelines and design systems.
- Experience producing materials for digital, print, events and workplace environments.
- Previous experience within a holding group, large corporate organisation, government-related entity or multi-brand environment is preferred.
- Experience collaborating with senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders is advantageous.
- Agency experience combined with in-house corporate experience would be beneficial.

A senior, hands-on designer who combines creative thinking with disciplined execution. The ideal candidate can take complex business information and transform it into clear, polished and engaging visual communications.
They will be equally comfortable developing a campaign concept, creating an executive presentation, designing an internal newsletter or preparing production-ready event materials. They should understand how design supports employee engagement, leadership communication, corporate reputation and overall brand consistency.
The successful candidate will be proactive, organised and confident working with senior stakeholders in a fast-moving, multi-business environment.
