We are looking for a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to help develop and operate a secure, scalable cloud platform within a large financial organisation.
You will work on cloud infrastructure, automation and platform engineering while collaborating closely with software engineers, security specialists and architects.
What you'll do
- Design and implement Azure cloud solutions
- Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code
- Automate deployments and operational processes
- Work with Azure services such as Azure Functions, Storage, Key Vault and networking components
- Improve cloud security, reliability and scalability
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor cloud environments and resolve technical issues
- Collaborate with development teams to enable self-service and automation
- Contribute to cloud architecture and technical standards
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Bicep or Terraform
- Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
- Strong scripting skills, preferably PowerShell
- Understanding of networking, IAM and cloud security
- Experience with containerisation and/or Kubernetes
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
