Role Description The Senior Architect Technical Office role is a full-time, on-site position based in New Cairo. The person in this role will oversee technical architectural documentation, including detailed drawings, specifications, and coordination packages for ongoing projects. Responsibilities include reviewing designs for constructability, ensuring compliance with codes and standards, and coordinating with design, engineering, and site teams to resolve technical issues. The Senior Architect will support tender documents, review contractor and vendor submittals, and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle. This role also involves mentoring junior technical staff, maintaining quality control for all technical outputs, and contributing to process improvements in the technical office.
Qualifications
- * Strong background in Technical Architecture, including detailed drawings, specifications, and building codes.
- Experience in Solution Architecture and Integration, ensuring cohesive design across disciplines and systems.
- Exposure to Enterprise Architecture concepts, particularly in coordinating complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
- Familiarity with Software Development-related tools or workflows (e.g., BIM platforms, CAD plugins) for design and documentation efficiency.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a closely related field.
- Proficiency in CAD, BIM, and relevant visualization tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar).
- Demonstrated experience in a senior or lead technical office role within an architecture or multidisciplinary design firm.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills, with attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
