Join a startup that's changing how ground data is delivered
Sales Engineer, Geotechnical Data Platform
G& (Ground and.) Full-time (hybrid), with regular travel across the Gulf and Egypt
Every infrastructure project or new city starts with a ground investigation, and most of that data still moves through field sheets, spreadsheets and outdated desktop tools.
G& is fixing that. If you know the ground investigation world and want to help build something new from day one, this role is for you.
About G&
G& is a geotechnical data management and submission control platform.
It carries every borehole sample and lab result from the drilling rig to an AGS submission on one governed record. G& was built inside a ground investigation contractor, not from a specification sheet. Its users are contractors, laboratories, consultants and programme owners on major infrastructure and development projects.
Why join us
- Be early. You'll be one of the first hires, working directly with the founders.
- Shape the company. Your feedback from the field will shape the product, the pricing and how we go to market.
- Grow with the business. As G& expands across the Gulf and beyond, you can grow into leading the commercial team.
- Real timing. gINT, the industry's standard logging software, is being retired, and firms across the region need a replacement now.
- Startup pace, serious work. Small team, fast decisions, and tier-one infrastructure projects.
What you'll do
- Present and demonstrate G& to contractors, laboratories, consultants and project owners, from site engineers to directors.
- Build and manage a qualified sales pipeline across the Gulf and Egypt, from first contact to signed contract.
- Run submission audits and paid pilots: scope them, set success criteria, and convert them into subscriptions.
- Lead gINT migration conversations with firms that have to replace their current logging software.
- Answer technical questions on AGS data, laboratory workflows, validation and reporting, and prepare tender and proposal responses.
- Feed customer needs and objections back to the product team.
- Represent G& at industry events, client workshops and technical forums.
What you bring
- A degree in civil or geotechnical engineering, geology, or a related field.
- 5+ years in ground investigation, geotechnical consulting or laboratory work, or in selling engineering software to that market.
- Hands-on knowledge of site investigation workflows: borehole logging, in-situ and laboratory testing, factual reporting, ground interpretation, 3D/BIM deliverables, and design parameters
- Familiarity with AGS data, gINT, OpenGround or similar tools.
- Confidence in presenting to technical and senior audiences, and a record of building client relationships.
- A self-starter mindset: you're comfortable without a playbook and enjoy building one.
- Fluent English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
Nice to have
- An existing network among Gulf contractors, consultants or mega-project owners.
- Experience running software pilots or proofs of concept.
- Experience with tenders on government or giga-project programmes.
