Role Description
The Sales Electrical Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt. This role is responsible for promoting and selling the company’s electrical products, providing technical support to clients, and identifying customer needs to recommend suitable solutions. Day-to-day tasks include preparing technical and commercial proposals, conducting product demonstrations, and collaborating with the engineering team to ensure accurate specifications. The Sales Electrical Engineer will build and maintain relationships with distributors, contractors, and consultants, while monitoring market trends and competitor activities. The role also involves achieving sales targets, participating in industry events, and preparing regular sales reports and forecasts.
Qualifications:
- * Candidates should possess strong knowledge in Electrical Engineering, Electricity, and Power Systems.
- Candidates should possess skills in Electrical Design and Power Distribution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Experience in technical sales or customer-facing engineering roles, preferably in electrical products or power systems.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM tools; familiarity with CAD or similar software is an advantage.
- Fluency in English and Arabic, with the ability to prepare clear technical documents and proposals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and within cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel within Egypt and occasionally to regional markets for client visits and events.
