Key Responsibilities
Health & Safety Compliance
- Implement and monitor company HSE policies, procedures, and safety standards across assigned projects and facilities.
- Monitor contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel to ensure adherence to approved safety procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections and identify unsafe acts, conditions, and potential hazards.
Site Safety Management
- Monitor construction activities to ensure safe working practices are followed.
- Inspect work areas, equipment, tools, scaffolding, lifting operations, excavation works, electrical installations, and other high-risk activities.
- Ensure appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is being used correctly.
- Support the implementation of emergency response and evacuation procedures.
Incident Management
- Assist in investigating accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
- Prepare incident reports and support root-cause analysis.
- Track corrective actions and ensure they are closed within agreed timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, inspections, observations, and corrective actions.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports as required.
- Provide management with regular updates regarding project safety performance and areas requiring attention.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-5 Years of experience working on construction sites and with contractors and subcontractors.
