Role Description The Reservation and Operations Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Giza. This role is responsible for handling daily reservation activities, including receiving and confirming booking requests, preparing itineraries, coordinating with hotels, airlines, and local service providers, and ensuring accurate documentation of all reservations. The specialist will manage operational arrangements for FITs, groups, and special interest programs, monitor service delivery, and resolve issues or changes in bookings in a timely manner. The role also involves maintaining up-to-date records in reservation systems, preparing operational reports, and communicating clearly with clients, partners, and internal teams to ensure smooth trip execution and high service standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong reservation and operations skills, including experience with travel booking systems, itinerary preparation, and coordination of services for individual and group travelers.
- Candidates should possess customer service and communication skills, including professional client handling, clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to manage inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
- Candidates should possess organizational and administrative skills, including attention to detail, time management, document handling, and accurate data entry and record-keeping.
- Candidates should possess basic sales and marketing awareness, with an understanding of travel products, destination knowledge, and the ability to support promotional and MICE-related activities.
- Relevant travel industry experience (e.g., travel agency, tour operator, airline, hotel, or destination management) is highly beneficial.
- A diploma or degree in tourism, hospitality, business, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic and good knowledge of common office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, word processing) are required.
- Ability to work on-site in Giza, collaborate within a team, and adapt to changing operational needs and client requirements.
