Role Description The Registrar Family Medicine will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, focusing on prevention, diagnosis, and management of common acute and chronic conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting patient consultations, performing clinical examinations, ordering and interpreting investigations, and developing individualized care plans in line with current clinical guidelines. The role involves maintaining accurate medical records, participating in multidisciplinary case discussions, and contributing to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives within the facility. The Registrar will support health education activities, supervise junior clinical staff where applicable, and engage in ongoing professional development and clinical audits. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Al Madinah Al Munawwarah.
Qualifications
* Formal medical qualification (MBBS or equivalent) and completion of recognized Family Medicine residency or equivalent training.
* Valid professional license to practice medicine and eligibility for registration with relevant Saudi health authorities.
* Demonstrated competence in primary care, including management of acute and chronic diseases, preventive care, and continuity of care across the lifespan.
* Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills, with the ability to apply evidence-based guidelines.
* Proficiency in maintaining clear, accurate medical documentation and using electronic health record systems.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
* Commitment to patient-centered care, ethical practice, cultural sensitivity, and respect for diverse backgrounds.
* Ability to manage workload in a busy clinical environment, prioritize tasks, and respond appropriately to urgent and emergency situations.
* Willingness to participate in teaching, mentoring, clinical audits, and continuous quality improvement projects.
* Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
* Previous experience in a hospital or primary care setting in Family Medicine or General Practice is preferred.
