Role Description The Receptionist role is a full-time, on-site position based in Cairo. The Receptionist will greet and direct visitors, answer and route phone calls, manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, and maintain a professional and welcoming reception area. Daily tasks include handling inquiries, coordinating appointment schedules, supporting basic clerical tasks such as filing and data entry, and ensuring that messages and information are accurately communicated to relevant team members. The role also involves collaborating with different departments to support smooth office operations and providing courteous customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong receptionist duties and front-desk operations skills, including visitor management and appointment coordination.
- Proficient phone etiquette and ability to handle multi-line phone systems in a calm, professional manner.
- Solid clerical skills, such as filing, data entry, document handling, and basic office administration.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact politely and effectively with diverse individuals.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and reliability in managing routine tasks.
- Comfort with using office software (e.g., email, calendars, spreadsheets) and office equipment.
- Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative support role is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in office administration is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Cairo and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
