Position: QA Test Engineer
Location: AbuDhabi

Purpose
We are looking for a QA Test Engineer with focus on quality of product, process, and deliverables. This individual contributor role is to be assigned to mission-focused testing by automating recurring task and eliminating unnecessary work in a fast-paced Agile environment
Qualification and Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computers, or equivalent hands-on experience as a QA professional in a software company, with a strong focus on both functional and non-functional testing through a combination of automated and manual approaches.
- 5- 8 years of experience in the software testing environment
- Relevant certification would be an advantage
- Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices and integration of automated testing into a continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline
- Strong working knowledge of automation testing
- Expert in manual testing; to introduce new test techniques, tools and work efficiently with current tools
- Technical understanding of design and system architecture for multitier application
- Strong knowledge of SDLC and experience with Agile test methodology
- Knowledge of non-functional and performance testing
- Good understanding of networks and distributed systems
- SQL database background/expertise
- Detail oriented and have amazing communication skills; explaining technical problems succinctly and clear
Responsibilities
- Design and execute manual and functional test cases across features, ensuring requirements are met from an end-user perspective; act as a business-user test expert, validating workflows the way real users would experience them
- Test AI-driven features and systems — covering model outputs, edge cases, data-driven behavior, and response accuracy — in addition to traditional functional testing
- Build and maintain automated test coverage using Selenium, and apply related tools (Playwright, Selenium, Apache JMeter, Cucumber, Screenplay) for API, load, and BDD-style testing as needed
- Develop and evolve automation frameworks that raise product quality standards across the development lifecycle
- Perform non-functional testing — usability, security, and risk-based testing — alongside functional and API testing
- Own end-to-end test activities: script development, test data preparation, execution, debugging, and clear reporting for management visibility
- Diagnose hard-to-find bugs using a range of diagnostic tools and techniques; bring strong problem-solving and communication skills to root-cause analysis
- Identify gaps, ambiguity, or redundancy in requirements, and help shape better, more testable requirements up front — promoting bug-prevention practices over late-stage fixes
- Partner closely with Development, Backend, Product, Architecture, and Support teams, instrumenting workflows to track velocity, coverage, and quality
- Participate in sprint planning and reviews — defining sprint goals, surfacing backlog risks/issues, and driving quick remediation with the Scrum team
- Champion testing best practices and continuously raise the bar by evaluating new tools and processes
