Job DescriptionThe QA Lead / Expert is responsible for leading and coordinating quality assurance activities across assigned products or projects while providing advanced technical expertise in software testing. The role ensures effective test planning and execution, consistent application of QA standards and practices, and drives improvements in test automation, performance testing, testing frameworks, and overall testing efficiency. The role provides technical guidance to QA Engineers, addresses complex quality challenges, manages quality risks, and collaborates with relevant stakeholders to support reliable and timely digital delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- * Lead and coordinate day-to-day QA activities across assigned products and projects, ensuring timely and effective execution of testing activities.
- Establish, maintain, and continuously improve testing frameworks, standards, tools, and practices, with a strong focus on functional, automation, and performance testing.
- Design and enhance automation and performance testing frameworks, ensuring scalability, maintainability, reusability, and effective integration with CI/CD pipelines.
- Review and approve test strategies, test plans, test cases, automation approaches, performance test designs, and test reports to ensure adequate coverage, traceability, and quality.
- Identify and apply AI-enabled testing approaches and tools to improve test design, automation, defect analysis, test coverage, and overall QA efficiency.
- Provide advanced technical guidance and mentoring to QA Engineers and Senior QA Engineers, supporting complex testing challenges and promoting consistent QA practices.
- Maintain working knowledge of security and penetration testing concepts and collaborate with relevant security teams to understand findings, assess quality impacts, and support appropriate validation activities.
- Monitor quality metrics and ensure QA processes, testing evidence, and documentation are complete, traceable, and aligned with organizational standards and applicable audit requirements.

- Scalable and maintainable automation testing frameworks integrated with CI/CD pipelines, with measurable improvements in automation coverage and execution efficiency.
- Established performance testing frameworks and approaches, with documented performance results, bottlenecks, trends, and improvement recommendations.
- Reviewed and approved test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test reports ensuring adequate coverage, traceability, and quality across assigned products and projects.
- Implemented AI-enabled QA use cases that improve test design, automation, defect analysis, test coverage, or overall testing efficiency.
- Quality dashboards and reports providing clear visibility into defects, test coverage, automation, performance, quality risks, and testing outcomes.
- Effective technical guidance and knowledge sharing across the QA team, including automation, performance testing, testing frameworks, AI-assisted testing, and relevant security and penetration testing concepts.
- Complete and auditable QA documentation and testing evidence aligned with organizational standards, established processes, and applicable audit requirements.
Job RequirementsEducation, Certification & Years of experience
- * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field
- Professional certifications or licenses required or preferred for this role: Master's degree, ISTQB test certificates
- Minimum number of years of relevant work experience required for this role: 6 to 8
