Salary: AED 144,000 – 264,000 per year
About the RoleWe are looking for a compassionate, qualified Psychologist to join our team in Dubai. You will provide psychological assessment, counselling and evidence-based interventions to individuals, children, adolescents, families and community members. You will work closely with social workers, educators and other professionals to improve wellbeing and community outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- * Conduct psychological assessments, clinical interviews and risk evaluations
- Develop and deliver individual treatment and support plans
- Provide individual, family and group counselling and therapy using evidence-based approaches (e.g. CBT, trauma-informed care)
- Support clients with emotional, behavioural, developmental and social challenges
- Offer crisis intervention and refer clients to specialist services when needed
- Maintain accurate, confidential case records in line with UAE regulations and data protection requirements
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families and external partners
- Contribute to awareness programmes, workshops and community outreach on mental health
- Follow Dubai regulatory and licensing standards and professional ethical codes
Requirements
- Master's degree in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology or a related field (PhD or PsyD is an advantage)
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in clinical, counselling, school, or community settings
- A valid DHA (Dubai Health Authority) license, or eligibility to obtain one before starting
- Strong assessment, report-writing and case-management skills
- Excellent communication in English. Arabic is a strong advantage.
- Cultural sensitivity, empathy, discretion and sound ethical judgement
- Experience working with children, families or special-needs populations is preferred
