Position: Visual Designer
Type: Contract
Compensation: $20 - $60/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week
Role Responsibilities
- Design and author expert-level presentation tasks using reference decks and brand assets.
- Create gold-standard example decks with refined typography, grid, and visual system fidelity.
- Define criteria for 'on-brand' and 'polished' presentation design.
- Develop visual rubrics evaluating model outputs on craft and style consistency.
- Identify and flag visual failure modes specific to AI design.
- Communicate feedback and reasoning effectively to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Have strong relevant experience in agency, in-house corporate comms/brand, or as an independent deck/presentation designer.
- Advanced skills in typography, layout, color usage, iconography, and grid systems.
- Fluency in building and applying visual template systems across multiple slide types.
- Demonstrated ability to infer and replicate visual styles from reference decks.
- Expert-level proficiency in PowerPoint and/or Keynote; familiarity with Figma or Adobe Creative Suite.
