Specialist – Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R)
SEHA Salma Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a qualified and experienced Specialist in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) to join our multidisciplinary rehabilitation healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities

Assess and manage patients requiring medical rehabilitation and develop individualized treatment plans.

Coordinate rehabilitation care with Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, and other multidisciplinary team members.

Support patients with functional limitations arising from neurological, musculoskeletal, and other complex or critical care conditions.

Monitor rehabilitation progress, functional outcomes, and continuity of care.

Contribute to safe, patient-centred, evidence-based rehabilitation services and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements

Recognized Medical Degree with a postgraduate qualification in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) or an equivalent specialty qualification.

Minimum 7+ years of relevant clinical experience in a long-term care facility.

Experience in rehabilitation and management of patients with complex and/or long-term care needs is highly desirable.

Valid professional license or eligibility, in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements, including DoH passer/license, DHA license, or MOH license.

Strong clinical judgment, communication, leadership, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
