JOB PURPOSE:
The job holder will support the day-to-day setup, execution, monitoring, and reporting of paid media campaigns across digital platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok, Snapchat, X, LinkedIn, and programmatic) within the Paid Media department. Reporting to the Senior Media Manager, the Media Executive launches campaigns in line with approved media plans, tracks daily pacing and performance, implements optimizations, and prepares accurate client reports. This entry-level role suits fresh graduates or professionals with up to one year of experience and offers a clear development path towards the Media Specialist role.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
- Campaign Setup and Execution: Build and launch paid campaigns on Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, Snapchat, X, and LinkedIn in line with approved media plans, targeting, and creative specs.
- Daily Monitoring: Track delivery, pacing, and spend against plan daily, and promptly flag under/over-delivery or performance issues to the line manager.
- Optimization Support: Implement optimizations as directed (bids, budgets, audiences, creatives, A/B tests) and suggest improvements based on campaign data.
- Tracking and QA: Verify pixels, conversion events, UTMs, and tracking links, and QA every campaign before launch for accuracy and compliance with platform policies and client brand guidelines.
- Reporting: Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports and dashboards using data from ad platforms and analytics tools.
- Media Planning Support: Assist with media plans, budget splits, forecasts, and market and competitor research for client proposals and pitches.
- Coordination: Work with the account management and creative teams to receive assets on time and ensure they meet platform specs and ad policies.
- Budget and Account Hygiene: Maintain budget trackers, spend reconciliations, and naming conventions, and support monthly media billing and invoicing documentation.
- Learning and Development: Complete platform certifications (e.g., Meta Blueprint, Google Ads, TikTok Academy) and keep up with platform updates and industry trends.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Education
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, mass communication, commerce, or a related field
Experience
- 0–1 year of experience in paid/digital media, performance marketing, or a digital agency; fresh graduates with relevant internships are welcome
- Hands-on exposure to at least one ad platform (e.g., Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, TikTok Ads) through an internship, coursework, or personal projects is a plus
Skills
- Basic understanding of paid media platforms, campaign objectives, and the marketing funnel
- Familiarity with core performance metrics (CPM, CPC, CTR, CPA, ROAS) and how they are calculated
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, lookups, basic charts)
- Platform certifications (Meta Blueprint, Google Ads, TikTok Academy) are a plus
- Familiarity with Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, and Looker Studio is a plus
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced agency environment
- Eagerness to learn, proactive attitude, and openness to feedback
- Familiarity with the Egypt and GCC digital advertising markets is a plus
