What you’ll do
We are looking for a People Manager to join our fast-paced quick commerce business and partner closely with both Corporate and Operations teams. The role will be responsible for driving people-related initiatives across the employee lifecycle, with a strong focus on employee relations, talent Acquisition, People Operations, and stakeholder management. The ideal candidate is a hands-on People professional who can operate effectively in a dynamic environment, balance strategic thinking with day-to-day execution, and partner closely with business leaders to solve people and operational challenges.
- Own the end-to-end recruitment process from sourcing and stakeholder alignment through to offer and onboarding.
- Oversee recruitment and hiring activities across both corporate and operations functions.
- Support Junior Talent Partners with recruitment activities, including role approvals, offer approvals, and stakeholder alignment.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and ensure timely hiring against business needs.
- Monitor recruitment progress and provide regular updates to key stakeholders.
- Act as a key People contact for Employee Relations matters across Corporate and Operations.
- Support and participate in employee investigations related to misconduct, performance, policy violations, and other workplace concerns.
- Partner with managers to address employee-related challenges and ensure issues are handled fairly and consistently.
- Support employees with people-related requests, concerns, and queries throughout their employee lifecycle.
- Own and monitor probation periods across the business, ensuring managers complete probation reviews and decisions within the required timelines.
- Follow up with stakeholders on probation confirmations, extensions, or other required actions.
- Support managers in addressing performance-related concerns and navigating appropriate People processes.
- Serve as a trusted People partner to corporate and operations stakeholders, providing guidance and support on day-to-day people matters.
- Partner with business leaders to identify and resolve operational and people-related challenges.
- Provide stakeholders with relevant people data, reports, insights, and updates to support business decisions.
- Ensure key People processes are executed effectively and in line with company policies and requirements.
- Conduct market research and provide insights on talent availability, compensation, hiring trends, and market practices.
- Use market data to support recruitment strategies, offer decisions, and workforce planning.
What you'll need:
- 7+ years of experience in people & culture, HRBP, people operations, talent acquisition, or a similar People function.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field.
- Experience working in quick commerce, E-commerce, retail, logistics, operations, or another fast-paced environment is highly preferred.
- Experience managing end-to-end recruitment for managerial and senior-level positions.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner effectively with senior business leaders and operational teams.
- Strong problem-solving.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a high-growth, constantly changing environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with both employees and business stakeholders.
- Comfortable operating in a hands-on role where priorities can change quickly.
