Our client, an ambitious and growing law firm in Oman offering a broad range of legal services to corporate and individual clients, is seeking a highly organized talented Paralegal. The role involves assisting with legal documentation, case management, regulatory filings and client communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist lawyers in preparing, reviewing, formatting, and proofreading legal documents, contracts, agreements, memoranda, and correspondence
- Conduct legal and regulatory research as directed by lawyers
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic case files
- Prepare legal forms, applications, and supporting documentation for submission to
- government authorities and regulatory bodies
- Track deadlines, court dates, hearings, and filing requirements
- Coordinate document execution, notarization, certification, and legalization processes
- Maintain accurate records of client matters and legal documentation
- Liaise with government entities, courts, regulatory authorities, and external service providers when required.
- Monitor legal and regulatory updates relevant to the firm's practice areas.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Law or Legal Studies
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a law firm, legal department, or professional services environment
- Experience with legal documentation
- Familiarity with Omani legal and regulatory procedures is preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Arabic language proficiency is strong required
- Strong legal drafting and document management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
