Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Cloud Project Portfolio Management (PPM) Architect to lead the design, architecture, implementation, and optimization of Oracle Fusion PPM solutions. The role will be responsible for translating business requirements into scalable, secure, and integrated Oracle Cloud solutions across project financial management, project costing, billing, contracts, project planning, resource management, and portfolio management.
The ideal candidate should have strong functional and solution architecture expertise in Oracle Fusion PPM, with a solid understanding of financial processes, project lifecycle management, integrations, reporting, and Oracle Cloud architecture.
Key Responsibilities
1. Solution Architecture
- Own the end-to-end solution architecture for Oracle Fusion PPM implementations and transformation programs.
- Design solutions covering Project Foundation, Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Control, Project Planning and Scheduling, Project Contracts, Project Performance, Project Resource Management
- Translate business requirements into scalable Oracle Fusion Cloud solutions.
- Define application configuration, extensions, integrations, security, and reporting architecture.
- Ensure solutions align with Oracle Cloud best practices and enterprise architecture standards.
- Lead fit-gap analysis and recommend standard Oracle functionality versus extensions/customizations.
2. Business Process Design
- Analyze and design end-to-end project business processes, including:
- Project initiation and creation
- Project budgeting and forecasting
- Project planning and scheduling
- Resource assignment and utilization
- Project costing
- Time and expense capture
- Cost allocation
- Revenue recognition
- Project billing and invoicing
- Project financial reporting
- Project closure
- Design processes for capital, indirect, and customer projects.
- Define project governance, approval workflows, controls, and operating models.
- Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders and document future-state processes.
3. Oracle Fusion PPM Configuration
- Provide architectural guidance for configuration of Oracle Fusion PPM.
- Define setups for:
- Project types
- Project templates
- Project organizations
- Expenditure types
- Transaction sources
- Transaction controls
- Project classifications
- Project statuses
- Project accounting rules
- Billing controls
- Budgetary controls
- Project resources
- Ensure configuration supports global and multi-business-unit requirements.
