Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage MEP design teams, with a primary focus on mechanical systems.
- Review and approve mechanical and MEP design deliverables before submission.
- Manage and coordinate HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and other MEP systems.
- Ensure proper coordination between Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural, and Structural disciplines.
- Lead BIM coordination and ensure proper modeling and documentation using Revit MEP.
- Review Revit models, drawings, and technical deliverables for quality and compliance.
- Identify and resolve design clashes and coordination issues.
- Coordinate with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are achieved.
- Monitor project progress, deliverables, and design deadlines.
- Provide technical guidance and support to engineers and designers.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
- Participate in design meetings and coordinate technical decisions with the project team.
- Support the development and implementation of BIM and design standards within the company.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
* 10+ years of relevant experience in MEP design and coordination.
* Strong background in HVAC, Plumbing, and Firefighting systems.
* Excellent knowledge of Revit MEP and BIM workflows.
* Strong experience in multidisciplinary coordination and clash detection.
* Experience managing and mentoring engineering teams.
* Good knowledge of international codes and standards.
* Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
* Experience working in MEP design consultancy offices*.
* Experience with large-scale commercial, residential, hospitality, or mixed-use projects.
* BIM-related certification or relevant training is an advantage.
