About the role
L&V Elite is seeking an experienced MEP Manager to lead its MEP department and oversee the delivery, coordination, and technical review of mechanical and electrical systems across commercial and residential projects.
The successful candidate will combine strong engineering-consultancy experience with advanced Revit/BIM capabilities and substantial Gulf-region experience. This is a leadership position requiring excellent technical judgment, multidisciplinary coordination, and team-management skills.
Key responsibilities
• Lead and manage the MEP department, including engineers, BIM personnel, and technical coordinators.
• Review MEP designs, calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical submissions.
• Ensure coordination between mechanical, electrical, architectural, and structural disciplines.
• Oversee HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, fire-alarm, electrical, low-current, and BMS systems.
• Lead BIM coordination and clash-resolution activities using Revit MEP and Navisworks.
• Establish department standards, workflows, quality-control procedures, and technical-review processes.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable Egyptian and Gulf codes, client requirements, and international standards.
• Monitor deliverables, resources, schedules, and departmental performance.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, authorities, and project stakeholders.
• Mentor the engineering team and support technical and professional development.
• Identify design risks and resolve technical and coordination issues before construction.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• 10–15 years of MEP engineering experience.
• At least 5 years of relevant Gulf/GCC project experience; 5–7 years is strongly preferred.
• Significant managerial and supervisory experience leading an MEP department or multidisciplinary team.
• Strong engineering-consultancy and MEP design-review experience.
• Proven experience with major commercial and residential developments.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit MEP, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and drainage, firefighting and fire alarm, electrical, low-current, and BMS systems.
• Strong knowledge of multidisciplinary BIM coordination and clash detection.
• Fluent professional English with strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Must currently reside in Egypt and be able to work on-site in Maadi, Cairo.
