Job Objective:
To ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of medical supplies, equipment, and consumables in accordance with organizational standards and departmental requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with medical departments to identify and validate procurement needs.
- Source and communicate with local and international suppliers to obtain the best value offers.
- Prepare and follow up on purchase orders until successful delivery and receipt.
- Ensure that all purchased items meet the required technical specifications and quality standards.
- Manage vendor contracts and track delivery timelines.
- Maintain accurate records and generate periodic procurement reports.
- Support procurement planning and supply chain optimization initiatives.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (a medical or healthcare background is preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical procurement.
- Strong knowledge of the medical supply market and approved vendors.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office programs.
- Excellent negotiation, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Good command of English (written and spoken).
