We’re Hiring: Medical Laboratory ChemistMRC Lab is looking for an experienced Medical Laboratory Chemist to join our team in Masr El Gedida.
We’re looking for someone who combines strong laboratory and phlebotomy skills with excellent patient communication, ensuring a professional and comfortable experience for patients of all age groups.
Key Responsibilities Interact with patients of all ages in a professional, reassuring, and patient-centered manner * Perform blood sample collection (phlebotomy) safely and accurately across different age groups * Collect and handle other biological samples according to laboratory protocols * Perform laboratory and microbiology testing*, including urine, stool, and semen analysis * Label, prepare, store, and transport samples correctly * Operate and maintain laboratory equipment according to established procedures * Follow infection control, laboratory safety, and quality assurance standards * Accurately document and report laboratory results * Conduct home sample collection visits when required (Prefered)
What We’re Looking For 4+ years of experience working in a medical laboratory * Strong phlebotomy and sample collection skills * Solid experience in urine, stool, and semen analysis * Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills * High attention to detail, accuracy, responsibility, and confidentiality * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team * Willingness to conduct home visits; owning a car is an advantage * Masr El Gedida residents are preferred*
