Role Description The Mechanical Engineer – HVAC will design, analyze, and optimize HVAC systems to support high-reliability power and engineering projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing mechanical and HVAC system layouts, preparing detailed CAD drawings, performing load calculations, and selecting appropriate equipment to meet performance, efficiency, and safety standards. The role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, participating in site surveys, overseeing installation and commissioning activities, and resolving technical issues during project execution. The engineer will also contribute to documentation, compliance with relevant codes and standards, and continuous improvement of HVAC design practices. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Giza.
Qualifications
- * Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering with experience in HVAC system design and analysis.
- Proficiency in Machine Design and application of mechanical principles to rotating equipment, piping, and structural components.
- Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating detailed mechanical and HVAC drawings and models.
- Demonstrated Project Management capabilities, including planning, scheduling, coordination with stakeholders, and monitoring project progress.
- Experience in Research and Development (R&D) for improving HVAC performance, efficiency, and reliability.
- Knowledge of relevant HVAC and mechanical standards, codes, and best practices.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, schematics, and engineering documentation accurately.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills in field and office settings.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; HVAC-focused certifications are an advantage.
